GARNETT — The word for this year’s Cornstock – pink. Cornstock, the city of Garnett and Anderson County Hospital will display pink lights as part of a fund-raising drive for a digital mammography unit at the hospital. Pink fire trucks from Kansas City will take part in the safety city exhibit at the Corn Festival, said Garnett Tourism board member Susan Wettstein. The pink fire trucks will be escorted by fire departments between Kansas City and Garnett, she said.
