WASHINGTON- Douglas County is able to receive natural disaster assistance after being listed as a contiguous county in the United States Department of Agriculture’s list of primary natural disaster areas. The list was compiled due to losses across the state caused by excessive rain, high winds, hail and flooding that began June 1st.
