TOPEKA- While it may be a pain, it’s necessary for the Kansas Department of Transportation to test highway pavement strength. KDOT does this every year, and this time around, drivers in Anderson and Miami counties will face traffic delays Monday through Thursday. Highways affected are US 169 in Anderson County, from the Allen-Anderson County line north to the community of Welda, and K-68 in Miami County from the Franklin/Miami County line east to 169. Traffic delays are projected to be no more than 15 minutes at length.
