GARNETT — The roundabout south of Garnett was opened this morning shortly after 1. The U.S. 59/U.S. 169 roundabout was closed Tuesday afternoon after a semi-truck and trailer loaded with ethanol rolled over in the roundabout and started leaking. Emporia trucker Chanoch Domenech was a taking a nap at a truck stop south of Garnett and woke up to a surprise – his three-hour layover was going to be much longer. There were no injuries reported.
