GARNETT — Members of the Anderson County High School Bulldog Booster Club are seeing red – and they want to see more of it. The boosters are trying to pump up school and athletic pride to the community with their “Red Friday” campaign. They are encouraging everyone in the community to wear red, which is one of the ACHS school colors, on Fridays beginning this Friday and through May. Booster club member Steffanie Kirkland told the Anderson County Review that wearing red is a simple way to show community support for local youth. Members of the group met with the Garnett City Commission recently to request a proclamation in support of the effort.
