OTTAWA- Two burglaries that occurred in the 2200 block of East 15th street in Ottawa are this week’s Franklin County Crimestoppers’ Crime of the Week:
The first burglary happened sometime between August 10th and the 14th. A storage unit was broken into and many items were stolen. Those items include: a Ryobi band saw, Oster brand sheep and cattle steers, and two show halters.
The second burglary happened sometime between July 9th and August 15th at another storage locker where items stolen include: 1 set of climbing hooks, 150 feet of climbing line, a red and gray cloth tree climbing saddle, and a small Katana samurai sword with “Pakistan” engraved on the blade.
The total estimated value of the stolen goods is over $1400. Anyone with information about this crime should 1-888-311-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous. Franklin County Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of any one committing a felony crime in Franklin County.
