OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission will hold public hearings Wednesday evening on whether condemn four buildings, 931 Walton, 403 E. Fourth, 727 N. Main and 1040 Burrough. The property owners will be told to fix them up, tear them down or the city will knock them down. When dilapidated structures get the point of a condemnation hearing, the city has been dealing with the owners for years trying to get the buildings repaired, and the city has little choice but to force the issue, city manager Richard Nienstedt said.
