OTTAWA – Rural firefighters were called to a fire involving a semi-truck in the northern lanes of I-35 between the U.S. 59 and K-15 interchanges on the southeast edge of Ottawa early Monday morning. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said the semi-truck received little damage. The trucker, Krystal Davidson, 33, Big Cabin, Okla,, was able to drive her truck to Zarco at K-68 and she summoned mechanical help. The sheriff’s office said brakes on her truck overheated.
