LAWRENCE — A 19-year-old Ottawa man will serve about three years in prison for a robbery in Lawrence earlier this ear. The Lawrence Journal-World reported Trenton Rowsey pleaded guilty in June in Douglas County District Court to conspiracy to commit robbery and aggravated burglary. He admitted he took part in the January robbery of a Lawrence man. The man was held at gunpoint as the robbers stole marijuana, cash and an I-Pod. Rowsey was sentenced to serve 32 months in prison on each charge. He will serve the sentences at the same time. He’ll get credit for the four months he’s already served in the Douglas County jail. Mikael Englund, 22, Richmond, also faces charges in connection with the robbery.
