OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission has called a special meeting for today at noon at city hall. The city was just notified that it will receive a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for improvements at the Ottawa Municipal Airport. The grant will pay 95 percent of the costs to improve the main runway. The city called the special meeting because the paperwork must be returned to the FAA by the end of the week.
