LAWRENCE — An award-winning World War II documentary film maker and author will present “Talking With Nazis,” in the first Kansas University Humanities Lecture Series event next Tuesday evening. Laurence Rees wrote the books “Auschwitz” and “World War II Behind Closed Doors: Stalin, the Nazis and the West” and will speak Tuesday evening at 7:30 in Woodruff Auditorium in the Kansas Union. He will use part of his Peabody Award-winning television series on the BBC “The Nazis: A Warning From History,” as part of his presentation. His presentation is free and open to the public. A reception and book signing will follow.
