PAOLA- A mindless prank ended in a bloody visit to the hospital. Adam Selk, 30, of Miami County was a passenger in a truck of three people doing doughnuts on a friend’s property in Spring Hill. In the midst of their fun, Selk was struck with a bullet in the back of his neck. The bullet just barely missed Selk’s spine, and though in the hospital, he’s expected to recover. KCTV 5 reports that the gun shots are suspected to have come from the property owner, but he is not cooperating with the investigation denying authorities an interview. Miami County Undersheriff Wayne Minckley says Selk knew whose property he was on and their intentions were nothing more than to prank his buddy.
