GARDNER — An escapee from the Lansing prison’s minimum custody unit was captured in Gardner Friday morning. The Kansas Department of Corrections said Ronny Dale Peters escaped Wednesday. He was serving a 32-month sentence from Johnson County for aggravated battery, theft, drug possession, domestic battery and burglary. More charges are expected as a result of his escape.
