MCPHERSON- Individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities in McPherson have a new place they can call home. McPherson just opened Genesis homes, a development designed for people who need accessibility at an affordable price. The units feature energy efficient heating systems and appliances, handicap accessibility and security systems. “The idea of offering this type of spacious and attractive housing has long been a goal for MCDS,” Mcpherson Multi-Community Diversified Services President and CEO Colin McKenney said. “We hope that Genesis is just the first step in that regard.”
