INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — A talk by an Ottawa University graduate and former director of the Franklin County Historical Society is being broadcast on the cable TV network C-Span. John Mark Lambertson, director of the National Frontier Trails Museum in Independence, Mo, recently gave a talk on western expansion and the three great trails that originated in Independence – the Santa Fe, Oregon and California trails.
