KANSAS CITY — An 81-year-old Grandview, Mo., man who was missing for eight days and who was the subject of a Silver Alert was found dead Saturday morning.
The body of Kenneth Corder was found in a field next to his pickup south of I-635 near U.S. 69, near a casino at Riverside, Mo. Someone picking up trash for an area business found the body, which police said wasn’t visible from the road. Police said there appears to be no foul play in Corder’s death. However, the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death. His sister-in-law Nancy Enquist, Ottawa, said Corder was mentally alert. However, Enquist said she believes Corder may have suffered a mini-stroke.
