OTTAWA — About 75 motorists rolled into the recent Ransom Memorial Hospital parking lot for drive-through shots recently. The drive-through clinic is a good health service for the community even though flu shots are offered by other clinics and even retail stores, hospital CEO Ceo Larry Felix said. It’s helpful to those people who have difficulty in walking. The number is down compared to last year, he said. But he said it serves another purpose – it’s practice for those times of disaster when health workers from the hospital, Franklin County Health Department and local doctors’ offices work together to vaccinate a lot a people in as little time as possible.
