RICHTER — A 61-year-old Pomona motorcyclist was injured Sunday morning when he swerved to miss a dog and lost control of his motorcycle and went into a ditch. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Charles Bishop was riding west in the 1600 block of Labette Road south of Richter when he encountered the dog. He was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital for treatment. Damage to the bike was estimated at about $300.
