GARDNER — Kansas City news organizations reported a standoff involving an armed man at a Gardner apartment complex in the 700 block of East Lincoln Lane this morning has ended with the arrest of a 26-year-old man. The Johnson County Sheriff’s office told news reporters that two women escaped the apartment at the start of the standoff. The sheriff’s office said one woman was treated for minor injuries from a disturbance before the standoff. The man released a 11-month-old girl during the standoff. Reports say officers used a stun gun on the man.
