CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Two U.S. citizens from Kansas are among four people gunned down in Ciudad Juárez this weekend, the El Paso, Texas, Times reported. An official with the U.S. Consulate in Juarez identified the Kansans as Pablo Noe Williams, 19, and his mother, Rosa Williams, 35. A spokesman for the Chihuahua state attorney general’s office told the Times that men carrying assault rifles opened fire on an SUV with Texas plates, killing the four people. Juarez is across the border from El Paso.
