LYNDON — The 4th Judicial District Nominating Commission will interview nine applicants for the Osage County magistrate judge this morning. They will appoint someone to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of magistrate judge Jon Stephen Jones. Candidates are Darian Dernovish, Lawrence; Angela Stallbaumer, Scranton; Kathleen Neff, Overbrook; Wayne White, Scranton; Cynthia Jean Long, Topeka; Taylor Wine, Vassar; Bissessarnath Ramcharan-Maharajh, Osage City, Scott Farmer, Osage City; and Gary Foiles, Lyndon. The commission will appoint one of the applicants to the position following the interviews. The interviews are open to the public.
