WELLSVILLE – He who hesitates gets loss. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Jacob Bauer, 35, Wellsville, was crossing the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks in the 4400 block of Texas Road southwest of Ottawa Tuesday afternoon when he stopped on the tracks to watch a train that had stopped on the tracks. While he was on the tracks, the railroad crossing arms came down on his pickup, causing more than $1,000 in damage.
