OTTAWA – The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is investigating three thefts reported Tuesday morning. Courtney Maloney of waverly reported items were taken from her grandmother’s house in the 900 block of Virginia Terrace near Lane. The amount of loss wasn’t immediately known.
James Ferguson of Ottawa reported several tractor weights were taken from his property in the 2300 block of Nevada Road. The loss was estimated at $350. John Harris of Ottawa reported a black CD case, book bag and a college textbook were stolen out of his vehicle while it was parked at Cheyenne Country southwest of Ottawa. The loss was estimated at $230.
