CHANUTE- Kansas Department of Transportation crews will begin surveying US 169 in Anderson County on October 19. The survey will begin in Welda and end near the 169/59 junction in Garnett. The survey should take about 4 months, and is being done in prep for a US 169 reconstruction project tentatively scheduled to begin in 2017.
