OTTAWA — The Ottawa Friends of Public education introduced themselves to the Ottawa school board Monday night. Supt. Dean Katt said he’s pleased the group wants to work on school issues and help as a liaison between the school district and the public. Katt said he’ll be glad to work with the group. The group’s first public meeting will be Monday night at 6:30 at the old Hawthorne school.
