GARNETT- After 52 years of working in the business, a veteran of Auburn Pharmacy is finally calling it quits. Joen Truhe worked at the pharmacy through all the ownership changes spending the last 19 years working for Auburn, the previous 31 for Kingsolver, and the two years before that for Graves Drug Store. Despite it being a job, between the customers and fellow employees, Truhe says she felt like she was part of a family at work. In her free time, she plans on making a quilt with the names of all the people she’s worked with over the years. Truhe told the Anderson County Review she and her husband plan to travel, and simply enjoy the free time that comes with retirement
