OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said the Ottawa VFW post reported someone broke into the post on Old Highway 59 north of Ottawa some time last week. The sheriff’s office said the burglar stole about $5 in cash. However, the post received about $500 in damage where the burglar broke in through a north door.
