KANSAS CITY — ABC News has learned that Kansas City police obtained a warrant Tuesday night to search the home where baby Lisa Irwin disappeared last month. And police tell ABC News they no longer have the full cooperation of the Irwin family. The said Deborah Bradley, Lisa’s mother, has been making frequent media appearances, essentially answering any questions that have been hurled her way. They said that they’re not getting similar cooperation and that they haven’t been able to have an unrestricted conversation with the couple since Oct. 8. And they’re saying that they could get closer to solving the mystery of Lisa if they could get the parents to answer all of their questions.
ABC News consultant Brad Garrett, a former FBI agent and profiler, said the police wouldn’t have been able to get the search warrant unless they had a fairly solid tip or some sort of physical evidence. The Manhattan Mercury reported that the Riley County Police Department received a tip about two suspicious-acting women with a baby that looked like Lisa Irwin Tuesday afternoon. However, the Riley County police said Tuesday night that the baby wasn’t Lisa Irwin.
