OTTAWA — A community group has backed away from holding the Ottawa Thanksgiving dinner. The Ottawa Middle School had hosted the free community dinner for more than 10 years but decided to drop it this year but offered to help other groups put it on. Ottawa Supt. Dean Katt said a church group looked at taking it up for this year but decided it was too big of an undertaking to pull together this year. That means the dinner probably won’t be held, he said.
