KANSAS CITY — Angry parents blasted the Kansas City school board Wednesday night after district administrators failed to notify police or parents that someone shot at a school bus carrying football players Friday night. The Kansas City Star reported that five bullets struck a Kansas City school bus full of football players from the Southwest Early College Campus Friday night after a game with Afrikan Centered Education Eollegium Campus. The Star reported that the incident wasn’t reported immediately to police and parents were never told about it. District officals said there was a breakdown in communication among school officials and police.
