OTTAWA — For the last two years, Ransom Memorial Hospital has been in the process of converting patient records from paper to electronic computer records.
Hospital CEO Larry Felix said the hospital has finished the first phase of the process. And now the next step – waiting for the check. Although federal health regulators have ordered hospitals to convert to electronic records, they also offered financial incentives for those starting the process early, he said. That includes RMH.
