KANSAS CITY — The Kansas City attorney who represented the parents of missing baby Lisa Irwin said she is no longer on the case. Speaking in Kansas City this morning, Cyndy Short said she disagreed with high-powered New York City attorney Joe Tacopina over their goals and approach to the case. Short said she still cares deeply about Lisa’s parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, and wants to remain involved in the case – and hopes Baby Lisa who has been missing for nearly a month – is found soon. “Our team in 12 days has logged over 700 hours of volunteer time toward the fight to find Lisa and to prevent Jeremy and Debbie from being wrongfully accused of this crime,” Short said.
