TOPEKA — Three area high school students have been named among 20 state finalists in the 2011 Wendy’s High School Heisman Award program. They are Nickolas Walsh of Lyndon; Tracer Paul of Osage City; and Garrett Griffin of Louisburg. The award was created in 1994 to recognize outstanding high school seniors nationwide who excel in athletics, academics and community leadership.
