HAYS-In difficult economic times, such as now, it’s particularly important that higher education is efficient with what it does with its money. The President of Fort Hays State University Dr. Edward Hammond is going to tour the state next week in an effort to emphasize higher education’s importance, as well as share how his university has effectively handled budget cuts. Among stops are cities Kansas City, KS, Overland Park, Lawrence, and Topeka.
