GREAT LAKES, Ill. — Matthew Nolte, Louisburg, recently completed U.S.. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week program, his training included naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. Nolte is a 2011 graduate of Louisburg High School.
