SPARKS, Okla. — Oklahoma felt a 4.7 magnitude aftershock Monday night after the recent weekend earthquake. Because it was a relatively shallow but powerful earthquake, aftershocks will continue in Oklahoma for days, weeks, or even months, said Susan Potter, of the U.S. Geological Service’ Golden, Colo., office. And if that wasn’t enough, Oklahomans throughout northwestern and southwestern Oklahoma are cleaning up after a series of several tornadoes ripped through the western part of the state, destroying or damaging several houses and structures, and trees. There were no injuries reported.
