OLATHE — A 28-year-old Ottawa woman was taken to Olathe Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash Friday on I-35 in Olathe. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Candice Casimir of Ottawa was driving north on I-35 just north of 151st Street in Olathe when the accident occurred. The highway patrol said a vehicle suddenly switched lanes, cutting off Jessica Salsbury, 34, Gardner. Troopers said Salsbury tried to avoid the car but struck Casimir’s car instead. Casimir’s car spun out, hit the median wall and then crossed all three lanes of traffic and came to a stop on the outside shoulder.
