BALDWIN CITY — Baker University mass media students placed in the top 10 in two categories at the Associated Collegiate Press national conference in Florida recently. A team of students placed fifth in the multimedia story of the year contest for their coverage last year of the Baldwin schools consolidation controversy. The team includes Baker graduate and KOFO’s own Genevieve Des Marteau of Lawrence. The Baker Orange’s Web site, www.thebakerorange.com, placed ninth in the Best of Show award. Two other multimedia projects received honorable mentions.
