VASSAR — The Kansas Highway Patrol said a two-vehicle crash in Osage County late Sunday night was a hit-and-run. Literally. The highway patrol said after a car rear-ended a mini-van on K-268 near Vassar, the three people in the car got out and ran away. Brandon Witt, 18, Wakarusa; was driving west on K-268 when the car rear-ended his mini-van. He was taken to Stormont-Vail Medical Center in Topeka for treatment of possible injuries. Officers seized the car. They’re looking for the occupants.
