TOPEKA — A Topeka woman has pleaded guilty of trying to rob the credit union where she worked. U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said Tracie Bacon, 22, admitted that she helped co-defendant and former Washburn University football star Vershon Moore rob the Envista Credit Union in Topeka on Aug. 9. Bacon was an employee of the bank and she told Moore about the operation of the bank and when employees were going to fill the ATM. Moore pleaded guilty in August to the bank robbery. Bacon will be sentenced Feb. 6. Moore will be sentenced Dec. 12.
