IOLA — A 21-year-old Kincaid man is in the Allen County jail in Iola in connection with a burglary of guns from an Iola bait shop. Anderson County Sheriff Jeff Hupp says Jase Fewins is being held to face federal firearms charges. Fewins and Joshua Cagle, 25, Iola; were arrested in connection with a burglary of 39 guns from the West Side Bait Shop. he loss was estimated in the thousands of dollars. Allen County Sheriff Tom Williams credited a tip to Allen County Crimestoppers with helping break the case. Hupp said Anderson County and Garnett detectives staked out Fewins’ house and helped as Allen County and federal officers raided the house. Hupp said 25 guns were found in the house.
