IOLA — A volunteer firefighter from Iola has pleaded guilty in Allen County District Court in this week to setting a series of grass and hay fires in northern Allen County.
The Iola Register reported that Lee Berg, 19, pleaded guilty to five felony counts of arson. Berg is also suspected of an Anderson County hay bale fire near Colony that burned 398 big bales, causing $35,800 in damage.
