GARNETT — The Friends of the Prairie Spirit Trail said it takes everyone to raise a village for Christmas. They’re looking for groups or people to join them to create a miniature holiday village in downtown Garnett. Last year, the Friends built a 1950’s replica diner. They’re building an old schoolhouse and asking other groups to include their own holiday creations. For information, contact Janice Hodgson at (785) 448-6118 as soon as possible. The Friends schoolhouse goes on display the night of the Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
