OTTAWA – Although the school district as a Web site, USD 290 plans to develop and use its own Facebook and Twitter. Once they’re made operational, Facebook and Twitter will likely be the most important ways the district communicates with its tech-savvy students and young parents, said Supt. Dean Katt. But the school district is still working out the policies and procedures regarding the social media and still some time away from regularly using them, he said.
