OTTAWA — A 60-year-old Ottawa motorcyclist was lucky Sunday. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said Michael Lear was riding his 2007 Harley Davidson west in the 1900 block of K-68 west of Ottawa, when he hit a deer. The sheriff’s office said Lear wasn’t injured. Damage to his bike was estimated at more than $1,000.
