CHANUTE — Neosho County Community College is one of six community and technical colleges that will share $500,000 in job-training grants from the Kansas Department of Commerce. Spirit Aerosystems recently announced the company would open a new facility in Chanute. The college will combine its share of the grants with other training funds to help the company’s local workforce.
