PAOLA — The annual Paola Association for Church Action Thanksgiving service will be tonight at 7 at the Paola First Presbyterian Church. Several pastors from member churches will lead the worship. Worshippers are asked to bring an offering of food for the PACA food bank or a free-will offering for the food bank and Operation Holiday.
The Lighthouse Presbyterian Church of Paola, on the corner of Hedge Lane and 303rd Street, will host a free community Thanksgiving dinner from Thursday noon to 3. Reservations are not required, but organizers would like you to call at (913) 294-2400. If you also call, they’ll provide transportation to and from the dinner or deliver meals for home-bound residents.
