OTTAWA — A 38-year-old Ottawa man was booked into the Franklin County Jail after he barricaded himself in a room against Ottawa police in the 600 block of South Willow Tuesday morning. Ottawa police said Steven Jackson was booked for obstruction of official duty, resisting arrest, and suspicion of possessing of drug paraphernalia. Police had been trying to serve Jackson with civil-court warrants from Johnson County but he had successful evaded them until Tuesday, Lt. Adam Weingartner said. When police closed in, he barricaded himself in a bedroom. Officers talked him into surrendering, Weingartner said.
