OTTAWA — Three men from Carbondale, Emporia and Topeka reported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office Monday that thieves stole a large amount of scrap metal, a dirt slip, an 1980s model Chevrolet Camaro, a 60s-era Ford truck and an older Jeep Wagoneer from an auction site after they bought the items. The loss was estimated at $1,225.
