PAOLA — Franklin County rural firefighters responded to a house fire in the 2300 block of Pleasant Valley Drive in rural Miami County northeast of Rantoul Friday. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said some walls were damaged but most of the house was undamaged. The sheriff’s office had no immediate cause or estimate of the damage.
